President’s Message 2023
We begin to open our 172nd fair activities on Friday evening with our ambassador competition. This year we are trying something new for our ambassador competition.
Don’t forget to check out our fantastic displays and exhibits. Our exhibitors put in lot of work and preparation for our fair. The exhibits will be displayed Friday evening and Saturday.
Saturday we will be hosting our pet show/competition, this will be a fun opportunity to show off your pet. We will also have our dairy and beef 4-H exhibitors.
We are excited to bring back our bouncy castles, obstacle course, children's face painting and games. If you are feeling extra strong, you can test your speed and strength at our round bale race and hay bale toss. We will also have a range of food trucks if you need to replenish your energy.
A big Thank You to all of our sponsors, supporters and fair goers. Without all of you, our fair would not be possible. We are especially grateful for the grants we have received this year.
Most of all, I want to thank all of our remarkable board members, associate directors and volunteers. Your hard work, dedication and time spent does not go unnoticed. I am very proud and honoured to work with a team who are very passionate about sustaining our agricultural roots.
We are committed to preserving our rural heritage by advocating and supporting our local farmers 365 days a year. Finally, thank you to our local farmers who work endlessly to produce food for our families.
I am excited to see everyone come out and enjoy the fair!
