Kincardine Fall Fair
AMBASSADOR
Program 2024

The Kincardine Fall Fair Ambassador Program returns as part of our ‘Deep Roots & New Shoots’ 2024 Fall Fair.

As part of our Opening Ceremonies on Friday September 1, the Kincardine Agricultural Society will host the Ambassador Program to select the next representative of our Fall Fair.

What happens at the Ambassador Program?

Participants will prepare and deliver a 3 to 5 minute speech to be presented to a panel of judges as well as an audience. There will be an open question period by the judges as well. Participants will be given a gift bag full of items from local businesses for participating in the program, as well as a dinner out with the Ambassador Committee prior to the program. In addition to the Ambassador Program on the Friday night, there will be a pie and silent auction as well, as live entertainment.

What does becoming the Ambassador mean?

The new Ambassador is provided with an opportunity to represent not only the Kincardine Agricultural Society, but also the Municipality of Kincardine. Furthermore, they can gain valuable experience in leadership and public speaking skills, not to mention, learning more about and being an advocate for agriculture.

Who can participate?

Mini Ambassador – for children 6 years old or younger

Junior Ambassador – for children ages 11 – 14

Senior Ambassador – for young adults between the ages of 17 and 24

What to expect if chosen?

The Ambassadors will represent the Kincardine Agricultural Society and the Municipality of Kincardine at local parades and events. Speaking engagements may occur at local community events, organizations, groups/clubs throughout the year. The Senior Ambassador will attend the Ontario Association of Agricultural Societies (OAAS) convention in Toronto in February 2023 and the CNE Ambassador competition in 2023. The chosen Ambassador will receive a $500 bursery at the end of their term as Ambassador.
